Kelab Orang Gunung Kuala Lumpur

Orang Gunung Kuala Lumpur ("OGKL") Club (Reg no: 1726/93 WP) is a non-profit organization with an objective of bringing people with common interest in outdoors together as well as creating awareness on environment conservation since 1993. The formation of the club was initiated by a few group of hikers around the Kuala Lumpur city.

Members of the OGKL club consist of novice, amateur as well as expert in all kind of extreme sports, backpacking, hiking, trekking, kayaking, water rafting, scuba diving, skydiving, abseilling and etc. With the club website, members are encouraged to share their experiences and exchanging information pertaining to their interest.

Raleigh International Kuala Lumpur

Raleigh International Kuala Lumpur (RIKL)

Raleigh International Kuala Lumpur is a youth development organization that seeks to empower young Malaysians through challenging community, environmental and adventure projects. Raleigh KL is affiliated with the UK-based Raleigh International that runs expeditions around the world.

In the past these countries include Chile, Namibia, Oman, China, Ghana, Siberia and Mongolia. In 2008, Raleigh International will have expeditions in Costa Rica-Nicaragua, India and Malaysia-Sabah. These expeditions are divided into three phases: Adventure, Community and Environment.

Based in the Klang Valley, Raleigh KL supports Malaysian venturers and staff for local and international expeditions by facilitating their preparation and fundraising efforts. Raleigh KL also helps young Malaysians to effectively contribute back to their own community through the many local projects and activities.

The Penang Adventurers' Club

The Penang Adventurers’ Club was founded on 24 April 1976 by a group of energetic and dynamic young men in Penang who shared a common interest in their love for nature, outdoor life, and adventure. They had a dream to initiate a club where people from all walks of life can gather for fellowship and to plan outdoor activities for themselves and others. The club was registered on 6th December 1979. It is a non-profit organization which organizes recreational and leisure activities for members as well as the public. It also renders whatever services it can to the community for the betterment of society. The formation of the club marked a significant development in the Penang Municipal Park. The club has organized successful projects such as the Round Island Walk, Children’s Adventure Camp, Youth Camp, Fun Run, Lantern Night Festival, Hikathon, and etc.
